Short Biography
Professor Snežana Štetić is a full-time University professor and CEO of the Balkan Network of Tourism Experts, Belgrade, Serbia. She finished her master degree in Tourism and PhD in Economy for Tourism.
As a recognized expert in tourism, in addition to teaching in Serbia she is (was) a visiting professor in many countries in Europe. Author of numerous papers, books and book chapters. Published 35 books in fields of Tourism, more than a hundred papers, over 40 tourism projects, many presentations on national and international conferences. Main fields of scientific interest and research are Sustainable Tourism, Natural resource management, Tourist development, Rural Tourism, Risks in Tourism and practical training for Tourism studies.
Professor Štetić is highly regarded for her pioneering work in tourism impact and development research. She is author of specialized business schools in Tourism. She is the organizer of special courses for the education of the rural population, event industry, tourist guides etc.
