Lionel Mourey is senior research director at CNRS and head of the structural biophysics team and of the biophysics and macromolecular crystallography facility at IPBS. He is cofounder of the Integrated Platform of Screening of Toulouse (PICT), a national facility on structural biology and ligand screening. His main competences are in the field of biochemistry, biophysics and structural biology, including X-ray crystallography of biological macromolecules and their complexes with a special emphasis on infectious diseases. As of August 2021, he has contributed to the publication of 82 original articles in international journals and to the determination of 105 structures deposited within the Protein Data Bank.
