Short Biography
He is employed as an associate professor at the Department of Machine Design Engineering and Transport Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Košice. His field of activity is focused on the issue of emissions of internal combustion engines, which is currently very topical especially with regard to the automotive industry in Slovakia. He is also the main author of several patent applications and granted patents or registered utility models. The patented innovative technical solutions have been developed for the specific needs in practice and they have been applied on the international scene in the motorsport area, where they were used by several racing teams at home and abroad. 
In the year 2014 the Minister of Education of the Slovak Republic awarded him with the "Prize for Science and Technology" in the category: "Personality of the Science and Technology to 35 Years" for the research and development of innovative design solutions in order to increase efficiency and to reduce emissions of the piston combustion engines.
